engine swap
Has anyone swapped out a 2003 6.0 diesel engine with a 2002 7.3 diesel engine . If so how hard is it and what do you need other than the engine, computer and cable from the computer to the engine and some to the dash and what about the accelerator pedal assy?

The 6.0 has a different style fuel system, as well as the updated 5 speed auto (5R110?). In addition to the wiring your gauge cluster will need to be swapped as well since they are different from the 7.3-6.0 which might also have wiring issues. Im sure theres more too it but basically it would require an entire complete donor 7.3 truck.
