Got a little spending money so im looking at a $50 or so project. Which should i do?
A- Add a 400watt amp (i already have) to my door speakers. Need a amp install kit.
B- Add a set of off road lights in my grill like those on Jake in PAs thread. Need wires, lights, switch.
C- Do the headlight mod with the relays. Need all pieces again.
head light relays are great. on all my rigs i also add monster back up lights - pair of 55w halogen lamps - harbor freight has them cheap - a toggle switch on the dash, a relay under the hood, and a couple wires. then just gotta mount them. mine are cut into the bumper like this https://www.dropbox.com/s/0vfdvdl6pv...2012.29.00.jpg
i think the lamps cost like 15, and all the wiring stuff i had on hand. you'll love your truck even more if you do it
Ok guys. Stopped by autozone lookin for what i needed today.
First off wires are freakin high. 7 bucks for 40ft of 18 or 20ft of 14. I was basing my parts list off of a write up i saw. Ill post the link in a sec. Im on my phone.
Second they posted relays were 4 bucks or so. All i saw for 5pin as 17 bucks each.
Check out the link and see in all of this is necessary.
And can someone give me a part number to autozone or advance for the cheaper relays. These are the only 2 stores open tomorrow.
