A/C or no A/C?

I've got my engine in and I've been doing wiring and cleaning up my core support and I'm getting to the point where I either put back on the A/C parts or not deal with it. The truck came with A/C so I'd just be putting all the parts back on and vacuum testing it for leaks but is it really worth all the hassle it wasn't working before i took the truck apart so I'm kinda iffy on weather it would be worth it or not.

Is the condenser the same for diesel and gas trucks?

I believe the condensers are all the same, and in my opinion it is worth getting it put back together. That is ultimately up to you to decide, but I like having the option of running with the windows up in the summer when we get some rain. That and the fact that the defrost works a lot better when your A/C works. A lot of people don't realize the effect that the A/C has on the windshield defroster, even when the temperature **** is turned all the way to the high setting. The A/C system cycles on and off and serves to dehumidify the air and it makes the defroster a lot more effective.
