I know a guy that runs golf ***** (I think 4 per tire) inside the tires to balance his wheels on his yota hunting truck. I haven't done it on any of mine, but always remembered when we'd break tires down and swap rims or tires out, we'd make sure and put the golf ***** in every time.

Redford I have a '08. I think the problem is with the20" wheels, they are just about flat on the back side of the wheel so the tube of the balancer must face the engine. It would take at least two spacers to clear the caliper but then the wheel would not fit on the hub. As I said before, all they would have to do is increase the diameter 1" and all would be good.

I'm running them on my F250 and I only get a vibration over 80MPH. (shouldn't be going that fast anyway) As far as wear, all my tires always have even tread wear but my driving is to inconsistent to post any numbers.

current tires are 315/75/16 E rated goodyear duratrac.

I have my car today, but if I bring my truck to work tomorrow I'll pull off a wheel and take a pic.

They never asked what size wheels I had. They just have a one size fits all for F250/350.

If you look on their website, they don't even list the 20" wheel, so I called to make sure they were available for my truck. I was sent part #300-318, so now I'm wondering if they were just hoping they would fit.

That's the stock number they sent me and they work fine on my 18" rims.

There might be differences between the '07 and '08 calipers.

That is possible but I purchased a set of stock 18" rims off of an '07 and there was no difference in the rim dimentions.

Yes, please do! I'm curious to see what a real-world implementation looks like.

i too would like to see what/ how they mount. I'm still concerned about the hub centric on our trucks being a problem after this?

If I had to guess I would say the balancer was about 3/32" thick and the spacer was the same thickness. So together about 3/16ths, which still gives you enough to mount the wheel on the hub.

I attached a screen shot of a video of my son putting a wheel on my truck. You can see the wheel balancer in the photo
