I have found that my problem of loosing coolant is because of the intake manifold gasket. At first, I thought it was my freeze plug that was leaking, but after replacing that, I still lost coolant.
Last night I was cleaning my throttle body and I saw a leak right over the thermostat housing. It seemed to be coming from the intake manifold.
My question is that is this a hard task? I will be doing this with a guy that is really good with cars. I have read disaster stories about gaskets being replaced and causing big problems. Is this really true?
