hey there... i hope you guys can help me out a bit.. i have a 91 ford with a 351w carburated.. and it tends to stall when its hot outside, or when i´ve been driving for about 20-30 minutes... it has a 4 sp tranny and it only stalls when it has to idle such as when i come to a stop or i put it in neutral, but while its in gear it runs fine, i don't notice any problems.. when it stalls it starts right up with no problems, i just have to give it some has so it will stay above idle to prevent it from stalling again... i just recently change the fuel pump because fuel was coming out of the weep hole.. and stalling issue was going on before i changed the fuel pump.. i was thinking it could be the problem with the ignition module but, either it doesn´t have one or its some where else besides the usual spot on the inside part of the fender... btw it has a oem points distributor... thanks for the help.. oh and the fuel filter is new so its not clogged..
no it does not have any original high pressure fuel acc... it has a mechanical fuel up going into a 2 barrel carb... at first i was thinking it could also be vapor lock but if it was i would have trouble restarting the engine... any ideas? thanks
