Which two bolts? The ones that hold the rubber mounts or the ones that hold the crossmember to the frame?

I will check when I finish lunch. I'm assuming what you really want to know is the thread size and not the wrench size - right?

Here's a pic of one of mine with a tap run in it to ensure that's the size. And, if you can't read the tap it says 12MM x 1.75. The bolt length is 1.350" below the flange of the head. There are a total of 5 of these on each side: 2 on the top of the frame holding the Z-bracket; 2 where the Z-bracket hits the crossmember; 1 where the crossmember hits the frame at the bottom. Hope that helps.

Welcome. As a check, the nut takes an 18MM socket and the bolt a 15MM one.

Gary, did you give him the bolt sizes for the cross member to the frame? I might be mistaken, but I believe he was asking for the nuts that go on the transmission mount studs that hold the transmission mount to the cross member. Normally I wouldn't question your posts because you give good advice, but he did say that it's a 40 minute drive for him to go get new ones. I've attached a photo for clarification:

If I'm right, I will check when I get home. If I recall correctly, I had to use a 3/4" wrench to remove the nuts from the transmission mount studs.

I gave him where the crossmember hits the frame based on this:

But, if he is calling the crossmember the frame then you are right.

GotFord - Please clarify.

Then disregard my previous dis-information. When I finish coffee I'll find out the size of those - on my transmission.

Mark - I'd rep you if I could. You saved his day. Thanks!

GF - Please rep Mark as I can't.

I appreciate it GotFord. If Gary hasn't provided you with the sizes by about 6:00 PM, I will post. I have to go home and I'll take one off and bring it with me up to Lowes where I can size it on their "cheat sheet". I agree that these things can kick your butt. I had to replace the mount and it was a serious PITA to get the mount out from between the transmission and the cross member.

Edit - looks like Gary already took care of it. Man he's fast!!

Some times even a blind squirrel finds a nut! Assuming your mount takes the same nuts mine do, and that's a BIG assumption, the size I gave you earlier is correct: 12 x 1.75MM. In fact, the bolt shown on the right edge, one of the ones holding the mount to the crossmember, also uses the same nuts.

EDIT: I was wrong about the bolts on the sides. Apparently I had the nuts jammed on them, but the nuts don't fit them and the aren't 12 x 1.75. I won't figure out what they are since that's not the need at this time, but for future reference they are different and probably SAE.
