Exhaust Manifold?
When my truck is idling, I can hear a popping sound, sounds like it is coming from in front of the driver side dash. I can't tell if it goes away when I rev up, or if it just starts popping faster to where I can't hear it. I have heard from a friend that it might be a cracked manifold, but other people have told me no. When I pop the hood, I can't hear it as well as in the cab, but on the passenger side of the engine I can hear a ticking, I am thinking that is the lifters. Oil is full.

Yeah mine makes that same sound. Exhaust leak on mine... the manifold's missing a stud. I'm afraid to actually look at it closely because if the "repairs" that the previous owner made to my truck are any clue... the stud's probably busted off in the head.
