Flashing od off light

Hi, new to fte, I have a 1990 f250 7.3 diesel with e4od. My od off light started flashing Saturday morning when I started it up, it doesn't go off at all. I drove it about 15 miles to my farm and parked it. I know I need to read code but cant find access port. I tried disconnecting battery cables, checked for loose wires, tach and speedometer seem to be ok. I could use some suggestions. By the way it was my only transportion, I bought a 08 Ford Focus Saturday, needed something to drive.

I have a 1993 F350 same motor/trans combo and it also does this

MY 93 F350 DIESEL DID THAT A FEW YRS AGO AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE JUST A BAD SWITCH. JUST A THOUGHT.

the code scan port is located under the hood.it's up by the drivers side hood hinge on the inner fender.

Found the test connector it was on the fuse box on the drivers side under hood.
