Oil leak
I've noticed a small oil leak coming from around one of the spark plugs on a 94 2.3l. I'm not to familiar with major engine repair and was wondering what might cause this? Rings or valve seats or something else possibly.
Its a really small leak but I'm trying to get ahead so I know what I will be looking into.

Oil leak
You should try to locate the source of the leak. I doubt if the spark plug hole is leaking oil, or you would not have good compression and you would hear an air compressor hissing sound. Most likely, the valve cover gasket is leaking a little allowing the oil to run down and collect around the spark plug. Wipe it down real good and try to follow the leak path when it starts leaking next time.
