It's not a 2005-2007 4wd SD, but if you put on your thinking cap for a few minutes this should help:
The parts you asked specifically about:
*outer tie rod ends, inner tie rod end- inner and outter are terms for independent front suspensions where there are two joints on each of the two tie rods, one between each knuckle and the rack/pinion setup. The SD uses a single tie rod between the knuckles, so there are only two tie rod ends, and that's all they're called.
*drag links - the drag link runs from the passenger knuckle to the pitman arm that hangs off the steering box on the driver's side. It has a flat spot with a hole through it, and probably has a shock bolted through that hole.
*steering stabilizer - the 5th shock, it's underneath and not really all that close to a tire.
*pitman arms - the arm that drops off the steering box and attaches to the drag link. Start at the passenger knuckle and follow all the rods upwards. One ends with a pitman arm, one ends with a large bolt. The one with the bolt is the trac bar.
* the steering linkage - pitman arm, drag link and tie rod
Now, this is a 2007 4wd front end, but is has an aftermarket dual steering stabilizer instead of the stock single:
This shows the tie rod underneath the two white steering stabilizer cylinders, the trac bar is immediately above the pair of nuts in the middle of the shocks, and the drag link/pitman arm is right above that. The brass colored u-bolts at the far left and right are on the tie rod ends.
Howdy everyone not trying to thread hijack or nothing. Just got a quick question for texas. Does the bracket where your track bar mounts a one piece or two piece part? I recently lowered my suspension and they left the dropped bracket in that place and i need to remove it asap. Thanks
