Does anybody know where I can get a front sway bar for my 73 F350 2x4? It connects to the radius arms. I have one on my 73 F250 but need one for my F350. I checked 2 junkyards and LMC and DC with no luck. I attached a pic of the one I have on my 73 F250.
The later, front-mounted version is more effective than that RA to RA design. Compare and contrast below... see how the later model attaches to the frame instead of floating in mid-air?
Addco and Hellwig both offer front-mounted, front sway bars. I recall the Addco one-inch is around $160 from Summit Racing but the mounting style is funky IMO cuz ya have to drill the I-beams for the endlink brackets. I'd rather have the OEM set up.
I have spares of each (two OEM and one Addco) but am working with a few FTE'ers to buy them. PM me if you want to get in line to see what falls through.
I'm sort of in a time crunch because my father-in-law is driving my F350 from SC to FL, about a 8 hour trip and I just wanted to get the RA to RA sway bar for now and then later when I do a complete restore I will change the setup.
