DATC heat issues

I found a thread from October 2012, but no replies within it for the following problem which I am now experiencing in my 08 F350 6.4 4x4.

The “Dual Automatic Temperature Control” The passenger side has warm air while the driver’s side has cold air regardless of the temp setting.
Regardless of being in Single mode or Dual mode, is always blasting cold air on the drivers side and hot on the passengers.

Has their been a resolution for this issue ?

Is this a DATC Module replacement for fix?

Greatly appreciate the help!
Thanks

additional info

I have control of where air blows, just cant get warm air on driver side. I can cycle through floor to defrost, air path changes properly and issue follows.

ESOF works fine and I think the vacumme does not control the heater on the DATC anyway (correct me if I am wrong).....

More info - tech help ?....

Ok, I had a spare actuator so I unplugged the driver side (LOWER) Actuator on the truck and as I cycled driver side temp up and down, actuator motor was functional.

Good news for me as it identifies that is one of 2 possible issues;

1 - stuck door
or
2 - faulty actuator

I suspect the later 2 as the failure because when touching the actuator in vehicle and cycling temp for driver side, I feel absolutely no attempt of movement from the actuator.

What I am trying to find out now is does the entire heat cabinet need to be removed (ie dash, and all) to get this out?

The actuator is visible, accessible to the harness connection, but the floor vent to the passenger side prevents getting at the screws to remove the actuator.

I have tugged and pried a little bit on the floor vent but no succes in removing it, and didn't want to force/break it until asking here, can and how is this floor vent/tube removed from the passenger side? I see no blts, no screws, no clips holding it in. Where it attaches to the main unit is simply a slipclip fit, but there seems to be something holding it on the right side.

Much appreciate any help in removing this... (without taking dash out...
