The machine shop finally called...
So far, he's done all the oiling mods and tapped several of the oil passages so I can modify oil flow as I like down the road. He got a set of dished pistons that he's thinking 9.5:1 or 10:1 compression on. It will now be 0.060 over, so this build better last a while.
I'm just getting excited because I dropped off the last of the pieces that I'm supplying (all the valvetrain) on Valentine's Day and now I'm finally seeing it materialize.
I guess I should start rebuilding that carb and get my cherrypicker fixed...
We need to get a Central Texas get-together planned. My engine should be here in a month or so, maybe sooner. I can't wait to fire up my FE446 :-)
My 67 is a driver, so I can take it if needed :-)
