Anybody know of a good place to get some spray on bed liner done? Preferably in the Stl or surrounding area. I'm looking for a good job at a decent price. Or if any of y'all do it let me know and we can set up a date.
I haven't found anything, Im going to try and get to first capital 4x4 to get an idea. Side note I found that VatoZone sells spray on bed liner in a can...... yep not that desperate yet.
I prepped my old Chevy the best way I knew how and two years later it was still peeling off. Not as bad as I've seen on other trucks, but bad enough to want a professional job on my nice truck.
I used the Herculiner from Wal Mart on the bed rails of my last truck. It lasted really good but I used roloc disks on an angle die grinder to prep. Way more aggressive than an sos pad and your hand like the instructions recommended. There was rust around the stake pockets from the previous owner putting those goofy looking tubes on it. I figured if I messed it up I would just put some chrome or plastic caps on to cover it up. It would take forever to prep an entire bed like that though.
Here is a opinion and some good question to ask the company before you pay.
Does it have a application company warranty, or manufacturing warranty? And what level of over spray protection on the rest of your truck during the process do they use ?

I wet sanded the entire bed with 220 wet or dry, being careful to get in all the tight spots. Then I washed it down with lacquer thinner and allowed it to dry. It was about 80 degrees out and parked in the sun when I did mine. The conditions were as good as they can get. It still peeled off.
Asked around to some of my local friends and here is what I got.
My truck has line-x and I wish it didn't, it seems to peel up a bit in some places not sure if it was just a bad application or what but what ever you decide it isn't a bad idea to have two or more layers, might cost alil more but I know a few guys that have the whole spectrum of brands and they all have had issues with stuff digging into it with only the normal single layer
I've got Line-X in my truck. Retailers all around.. Rhino liner is a little better though.
Buy Monstaliner and I will help you do it. Not near the cost and wayyyyy better UV resistance. It has a pretty solid reputation in the Jeep world. Very different kind of self appied liner than most
well we are all about conflicting comments today aren't we. lol
