Where can I get a replacement headliner for my truck? I need the fiberboard one. The only ones I've been able to find online appear to be fabric or vinyl. I don't need to recover the existing one I need to replace it.

Thanks,
packratt

Well i recovered the old one in my truck with a dixie flag, you could do the same with an american flag too, or any 3'X5' flag...

Guys, don't destroy flags that way. The flag deserves respect rather than just serving as a headliner cover, whether it is a piece of history or the symbol of our country...

I probably shouldn't have said that.

Isn't the French flag just a white one? That would get dirty too fast! I probably shouldn't have said that either. LOL

I am covering mine with gray carpet with a personalized inset. This will aid in sound absorption as well as add some more insulation.

autokrafters.com They offer the headliner for about $60. I don't know how well it fits but it is the only place I was able to find a new one. I was lucky enough to find a good used one before I actually bought this one.

I saw a neat trick on of the Hot Rod TV shows. If you have the backer board. They cut a flame pattern out of "Landua" foam. That's upholstery foam about 3/8" thick. Stuck that on with contact adhesive then more contact adhesive followed with a vinyl that was a little stretchy.

Killer! I'm going to do it when I get caught up.

My 78 supercab just has a white cardboard type ceiling. I was wondering what type of covering some of your other trucks came with?
