Sorry for the newb question, but when I was trying to diagnose a rolling noise in my 2000 F350 (see thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ing-noise.html ), I noticed something about the transfer case that was different from the old Fords I have worked on before.
I put the transfer case into neutral so that I could spin the back tires and listen for noises. When I did this, the rear axle AND the front axle spun. Is this normal? My old Bronco and one of my older trucks did not do this.
