Compression test

I'm going to check my compression in my 1989 F150 with a 302. What is the minimum pressure to look for before considering an engine replacement??? I also made a poor mans FIPK kit and the engine seems to run better with the original air filter. The truck really sounds good but I can't tell much improvement in performance.

Compression test

You might want to post this in the 302 forum.
I beleive its the difference between the readings more than minimum reading. Of course a cylinder with no reading or a very low reading (10-20psi) is a sure sign its toast.

Hope this helps
