All Dana's Created Equal ? ? ? ?
In the search to track down a rear end, I'm finding a lot of Dodge rear ends. Question is, are they pretty much the same aside from spring and shock mounts ? I'm looking to expand my search for a rear end.

Dana's for the most part are identical as the vehicle manufacturer just provides the brake assembly. Don't know much about dodge axles but looking at axle shaft lengths you'd want axles before they went to the 2500/3500 as they were 4" wider than their D-200/300 counterparts. Plus in the 90's Dodge ordered some funky Dana hybrid axles for the Cummins equipped trucks.
