I've ordered from both..... Mid Fifty salespeople seem to be very much on the ball, and can answer questions for you, where LMC salespeople want you to provide them with the part #, and don't seem as knowledgeable, I've found.
I got the wrong springs from LMC, (the wrong part # was on them) and they were excellent about return, and getting the correct ones to me. I've gotten some chrome pieces from Mid Fifty that I've been very impressed with the quailty of.....So far, haven't had any fit issues with parts from either one, but I'm not that far into yet............

I haven't had any problems with any of my orders, but on my last two orders, one on line and the other by phone, I asked for two catalogs and have yet to get one. I just spent over three grand and very disappointed. I may try Dennis Carpenter to see if they are more responsive. Midfifties may have just lost my business.

Mid Fifty and the gals there are good but I like Rod and Denese at hotrodsclassictruckparts, best people I have ever worked with and they will make it right. Most parts out there are mostly produced at the same place, it just depends on the vendor. I have found that you may have to massage some of the parts as the dies from which the parts were made were not perfect and the fit and finish back then was far from what we want in our trucks today.
