This motivated me to get back on my truck. Looks great! Looking forward to watching your progress.

Playing with the idea a doing doing that swap or just drop beams. Did you do a cost comparison? About how much did it cost?

I contemplated the same thing, cost wise. Mine has come down to access to fabbing, so I am leaning more toward the beams virtually no fab work. I'd still like to do a c notch out back and flip the axle so there is still some fab involved in the overall scheme of my plan. Just another thought.

I found a crown vic assembly for 350. at a you pull but the motor is still in it. Just don't wanna pull the motor there. Fab isn't really a issue have a buddy that is building a prerunner at his house.

I bought a complete Crown Vic with less than a 100xxx on for 700.00 on Craigslist. If you take your time you can find one easly for a grand. Then you have the parts you need and can sell the parts you dont need and get most of your money back.

400.00 for the engine
250.00 for the trans.
100.00 for the rear axle
Sale these before taken the car apart and they sale fast if the buyer can hear them run.
200.00 for scrap the rest after you get the parts you need.

950.00 back from your investment.

This is the best way as there will be alot of little thing that you can use off the doner car that you wont think about till you are in the middle of the swap.

Marrying the two wiring harness together.
Notice the PCM mounted to the left of the steering colume.

Outside view of where the PCM is mounted.

Cutting the dash for AC vents

Dash back in with CV gauges Glad thats over.

Cvown Vic Dash Cluster fabed behind the OEM dash. I thought it turned out really good. You would have to be a real ford guy to know there not stock.

Red LED install in the CV cluster. Sorry for the bad pic.

Raditor installed and plumed.

AC condensor installed

RUNNING GREAT!!!
