what is the easiest way to pull the harmonic balancer, can it be done without removing the radiator?

The seal is pouring oil but thats why it is coming back off. Yeah I used an impact last time I think it was 23mm but im sure it is a standard bolt. It was a beast to pull off, I thought something was going to break I used the pulley puller bar with two bolts in the pulley bolt holes but I dont think it will fit with the radiator in. Thanks hopefully the crows foot works.

when using the crows foot puller, do I need to have the crank bolt still in at a halfway out position, or can I just remove the crank bolt and then use the crows foot puller?

I ask because I dont want the puller to be pulling and pushing against the same part (the pulley) if that makes since... I have seen some crank pulleys(on other makes/models) where you actually have to use the crank puller against the crank bolt, with the crank bolt half way backed out.

Thanks guys

edit: I might have found the problem, is there a huge washer that is suppose to come out with the crank bolt, I can feel something loose inside the middle of the pulley.... Im thinking there might be a huge washer in there that dont wanna come out, I tried grabbin it with a magnet but its being stubborn.

edit2: yep. big honkin washer, anyone that comes across this thread, before you use the crows foot make sure you get that washer out with the crank bolt.

Looks like a crows foot...

Its flat with a threaded hole in the middle, 3 slots on one side, 1 slot opposite the middle slot. It can be use with 2 bolts in the opposing slots, or 3 bolts in a triangle pattern. A bolt goes through the middle threaded hole to pull the object free. Also can be used to pull some steering wheels and other objects that can be bolted to the "crows foot"

I used a crow foot puller. i just call em a bolt puller.
I had the rad and fan off, i'm sure you can do it with the rad in and the fan, maybe even the shroud, but i think it'll be a pain.
Took the bolt out, 15/16 deep well, just zip it out with an impact or ratcher, i had a cordless impact so it wasn't so harsh.
Then i used a 1/2 in ratchet with whatever size socket it was for the puller. put a cone tip on the front to fit into the end of the crank, and just pulled her out, don't think miens ever been done so it was stuck on there till the very end. I had my timing cover completely pulled, but when you put the new seal back in, a little grease or lube on it so it doesn't burn up is a good idea. When i started mine after getting it all the way back together it was dripping pretty good and i thought i had ruined the seal because i forgot to lube it. But It hasn't dripped since so it may have been just excess or something.
IMPORTANT! When putting your balancer back on, they make special balancer installers but it was recommended to me by the guys here to just use the bolt and washer,
MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE WASHER ON THE BOLT!
I narrowly avoided a BIG mess by trying to press the balancer back on with JUST the bolt, pulled the bolt out and the end of the threads were starting to pull and mess up, i thought oh no... im pulling the engine... needs a new crank... pulled the bolt back out and thought, well i forgot the washer.. put the washer on and sucked it right on easy as could be. Good luck!!

Not sure what you guys are calling a 'crows foot'. If it is this:

4 Piece Three-Jaw Puller Set

you are risking damaging your HB by pulling it apart. The outer part of a HB is pressed onto a piece of rubber that surrounds the inner part, it's not hard to pull them apart. And they don't go back together.

If this:

46 Piece Bolt Puller Set

is what you are talking about then all's good, carry on.
