Junk glow plugs
Has anyone else had the problems of glow plugs not lasting? I replaced my GPR with the Napa #110 last January. The other day truck wouldn't start. Checked it out, relay not closing. So I jumped across the terminals, and the truck would only fire on about 2 cylinders. Pulled the harness connections, and out of the 6 that I checked with a test light, only 2 seem to be working. 
I just replaced all 8 GP's with new Autolites in October. I know that I never liked Autolite, but has anyone else run into the problem of glow plugs not lasting?

I suggest that you pull the Autolites and install ZD-11 Motorcraft/Beru. The autolites are known to swell and bust off in the head when you try to remove them. That being said, I always ohm out gps prior to install. I found one bad, brand new glow plug.

check your batteries
Had the same problem after 150,000 miles, Replaced the GPR 3 times over three years and all the plugs, turns out it was the batteries slowly fading. after new batteries it works perfect. I also added a GPR push button switch so it only fires when I want it to.
