I just bought a breakout box. There are two cables on it that hook up to my '94 Ranger 2.3L engine ignition control module. The cables are not marked to show which one hooks to the top of the module(pins 1-6) and which to the bottom (pins 7-12). Does anyone have an idea how to tell which is which? Thanks.
Ok sounds like you have a good grip on the situtation, let us know how it goes, maybe others on the forum would be interested in a good break out box for trouble shooting.
