You have a point, although the tires don't look as small as the pic shows.
Finally, we on the road more than off the road, so the 305's are a great tire . I'm concerned about ride quality with the 305/55.
Anyone have the 305/55 and give input on ride?

No dealer work, no warranty issues...
Rock N Roll OffRoad in North Richland Hills for 2" Level, Recon Lights
Discount Tire for Wheels/Tires
Phil's Muffler for Exhaust.
As a matter of fact, I'm going to exchange the tires for 305 55 20 Nitto Terra Grapplers tomorrow. The 305 50 just look too small; although they ride perfect.

UPDATE:
My wife said the tires looked too small;
2 of my Sons-in-law: too small
daughters: too small.
Tomorrow: I'll go back to Discount, and have the 305/55/20's installed; Don't think the 315 will fit with only a 2" level....

Te bad part about bigger tires is one they use more energy to rotate them (energy=fuel) and two they are usually loud. I have been told that the Nitto Terra Grapplers are no louder than the BFG's...which to me still have their fair amount of road noise. I don't think the 55's will look much different than the ones you currently have.

Prince; I know. We are going to give them a try. My buddy is a manager at Discount, so he will install them and let me try them out. If we don't like, no problem, he'll switch them back.
That, being said, 2 of my sons-in-laws have large truck with the 8 ply tires. We've driven in them of course and the road noise, etc is really not an issue. One has Nitto Terrains, the other Toyo A/T's 35/12.50/20.
Plus, it's my wife's truck (so she thinks...) and she wants to see the larger tires.
We will know by tomorrow afternoon.
