I have just acquired a 2010 Lariat, CC, FX4, with 77,000 miles. I have all the service records. The PO did an outstanding job maintaining the truck. My EOT/ECT delta is 2*. There is no record of the coolant being serviced. With the reputation of Ford Gold I would like to stay ahead of things and replace it before something happens. The existing coolant is clean along with the degas bottle. Can I just drain and flush with water several times, flush with distilled water a couple of times and fill with 50/50 Gold? I don't want to do anything that might lead to oil cooler problems.
