Headlights

I have a 2008 F250 XL and I would like to do a headlight upgrade because I am tired of the black, and I have the sealed beam. Will any assembly work or do I need a certain 1?

Can't help you with the "black" problem but the sealed beams can be changed out to the Hella lens and a Hella 80/100 bulb. The improvement is beyond belief.

Yes it can be changed. Just get the normal headlamps assemblies and swap them out.

OK I have 1 light and it looks like the new ones have 2, is the a wiring harness I need?

Same number of bulbs either way, so no harness needed.

I don't know how it is on the 08XL, but on my 06XL when I went from the sealed beams to the one piece headlight I had to order the proper headlight bulb connectors. I cut off the three blade connector for the sealed beam attachement, added the proper pins to the headlight bulb harness and put the new connector on that attaches to the bulb specific to the one piece headlights.
