PCM replace
I needed a new pcm and i got the coil packs and spark plugs to go with it. I was just wondering does the pcm need to be programmed by a shop or did it come programmed. Went i got it they asked for the mileage and VIN and said it should be all ready except the security.

Well, if they said the PCM came programmed then you should be ok. There are several dozen calibrations, so hopefully they got the right one.
Depending on the year and what mode the PCM is shipped in, you may need a shop to program the PATS. The vehicle won't run until that is done.
