well it took the tow truck driver nearly 35-40 mins to get my truck up on the wrecker. he kept having to pull it up and let it down multipul times And that was the side he kept doing all the pulling on . He was having a problem because the wrecker he brought was just barely big enough to fit me truck , my rear tire where only on the wrecker maybe 3 inches and my front bumper was about 2 inches from the head ache bar. He wrenched it down pretty hard to make himself feel secure it wasnt going anywhere .
04badford will snap pics of the other side in alittle bit
I could see a big rock if there was other damage but that would have been noticed before and heard. My thing is that is the side he hook his tow hook to and that with the load pop me and father heard as he pulled it up on the wrecker

I think it got Hit Hard Before and the Tow Guy Finished it Off
Hope the inshurance steps up
You might make a Few Bucks if you changed the axel out
My Last auto ins deal worked out Great just a Few days wrenching on it is all I lost
Yes I just got the truck recently, Sold my F250 7.3 and got this one. I could not really drive the truck to much because the radiator was gone. I did inspect under the truck good for leaks and to check out the frame . I did not see this broken when I was under there. I would have also thought the wrecker driver would have noticed this when he was under there hooking up his tow hook . As far as making anything off of insurance I called around today and the cheapest axel I found was 1000.00 . I did find a guy that has a metal fame shop that makes a reinforced replacement for this and that only 60.00 then I have to have it welded on.
BThutch, are these pics right after the tow droped the truck,or a few days /weeks Im seeing rust and its hard to see the weld brake, is all of the welds clean no rust or some has rust and some dont. by the looks of your shock defenetly tow co caused and your discription of getting the truck on the flat bed ,why didnt he use the trucks hooks or eaven two strap on the axles, the first time he droped my truck I would have pulled my cell phone and recorded the load and unload process, that brake can be welded or check out a picknpull for trucks they have hot lines to find your parts.you are gona want to look at the other side welds look for hair lines, this truck my have been road hard and putt away wet .
04badford , the pics where several week after the tow. The truck has been sitting since it got droped of by the tow truck . I had to wait till after christmas was over to start messing with it. I just finaly got my new radiator in a few days ago and while I was putting it in is when I saw the track bar. I couldnt tell you why he didnt use two straps I keep asking him if he was going to be able to get it on there and he said yes and he was complaining about how tired he was how many hours he had worked in two days. I think he was just tired was in a hurry and didnt give a sh**. The only good thing is I did have someone else there that saw the whole thing and heard the loud pop.
