Generally I rotate my tires back to front. I need to replace two of my tires and I want to keep the two best tires. The two best ones are on the left side and I was wondering if it will hurt anything if I put one of them on the right side? The tires have been on the left side since I had them put on three years ago.
I would have no problem doing it. I usually put the rears straight to the front and cross the fronts to the rear. Never had any issues doing this. I have always ran radial tires not bias ply.

Have you ever driven a truck with bias plies? And no power steering?
Ibleedblueoval, I am sure if you put the two new tires up front
You should be fine. I've done it and I am still driving the trucks around.

I was always told not to change the direction of rotation on a bias ply tire. I don't even know if that is true just what I have always been told. . Yeah I have driven plenty of old farm trucks like that but never owned one nor do I plan on it. If it has a carburetor it is way to old for me. Oh and 4 wheel drum brakes, serious stopping power there lol
