Thanks, guys...the one from Mid-fifties is the type I was hoping to find.
I couldn't find them in their on-line catalog...I was searching for 'sill plate'...they cal them 'carpet covers'.
Will be ordering a pair up this morning.
Ed or Rich, any tricks on installing? Does the rocker cover rattle around or is it attached some how?
That's carpeting..now with a custom F100 floor mat on top. Actually, I have to access my SS battery box from under the cab..pain in the @ss for sure. I'll try to find a pic in the morning as I'm on my IPOD now and have no pics on it as they all on my PC in the office.
Here are a few pics I found from when I changed the battery (on a lift). It is much more difficult to access without a lift..but, doable with Rino Ramps. Once the battery box is compressed it is well out of the way. I keep a Battery Tender/Maintainer wired into the battery with it plugged in between shows to keep the battery maintained...the truck sits in the garage allot.
Thanks for sharing those pictures, you have a very nice truck. I'll be accessing my battery through the floor and looking at how your carpet lays has helped me decide how I'll cut my carpet.
John
I debated about how to access the under-floor battery. Should I cut a hole in my new carpet or not? I finally opted to go without a hole in the carpet. To access the battery, I had to loosen the screws on the sill cover and pull the carpet back. It was a little aukward, but I liked it better than creating a potential tripping hazard. Good luck, Jag
