I'm in the begining stages of replaceing the engine in my Bronco, and have a chance to get a 88 5.0 HO block thats bored .020 over, and all the machine work is done. I have a set of nice E7TE-PA heads with a multi-angle valcve job on them, and wondered if I'd have to change the chip and or brain to make this swap.I know the firing order is different, but don't know if this block will have the hole it in for the knock sensor. I also heard you can just drill and tap this hole if need be. I guess what I need to know, is, am I better off just rebuilding the block I allready have, or will the HO be worth putting in, and just what would I have to modify to do this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Bill:-)
