CD player placement
How have u guys placed a CD player in a '69 F100 ( not a RANGER)?
How did you'll get the cd palyer in the factory hole............?
Do you take the cover out of the glovebox...and go sideways?
I was thinking about taking the heater apparatus down........but I
didn't know if there was an easier way.........

Not sure what the factory location looks like but is that the only place you can install it? Look at what brackets came with the cd player and you might find a differant location to mount it.

CD player placement
What i would do is mount it directly under the dash. You can make a small box out of 1/4" or 1/2" wood and mount it in there, then cover it with matching vinyl or paint. Its kinda tough to describe, but the finished product looks like factory installed.
