sounds like you either have a cracked y pipe or a filter housing leaking. you may have some injectors going out. some time its easy to tell before it happens sometimes not.
i have to call bs on the belt squeek. i would call them back and speak to the service manager on that one. failer to fix it correctly then passing it off as somewhat normal is like i said total bs

You can start the truck Cold and feel around with your Hands around these pipesin the bACK

A SGII with 2 Standalone EGT and Fuel Press Gauges Would Fulley cover Engine Sensors and some of the Trans

IIRC Smartphone has DashBoss or Torqapp you wireless OBDII Connetor

SCT Tunner would tune the truck the Best IDK if they have a Gauge Option

Do you think the same of the Bully Dog intake V.S. the K & N that they dust the turbo? I am running a pre filter on mine. And it did add a little power over tunning the stock filter with the bigger exhaust.

Thanks.
scanguage II, or dashdaq, or something to read engine stats in real time....
all the time.

stock intake is good to 500 hp. stock filter is very hard to beat for performance.

go buy your truck a scanguage, leave the bully dog stuff alone, it
has a poor reputation on here, and it seems to have earned it.

get some reading on your engine, and come back and talk about it.

This is where the egr deleate goes and thats why mine will look difrrentt than yours

Those bolts shoulb be tighten together alternate tightening

I suspect you had the exhaust smell in the cab before the Exhaust Manafolds were changed???????????????
OK I see what you are talking about. I will do that this weekend. There was an exhaust smell in the cab but that was around 40 to 50K miles ago. The guy I bought it from took it in when he smelled it and got it fixed. He had it for two years and never had a problem with it after he had it fixed.

Took the truck to my buddy's shop last night and checked for codes, there is nothing, and hasn't thrown anything after I got the FICM replaced.

Ordering the SGII today. I will have to find a good diesel shop around here to take it to to figure out the belt issue. I did not take it to the dealership for that. When I took it back to the same shop that fixed my belt/tensioner issue the first time they took the belt off and check everything and said it was fine, put some belt dressing on and it went away for a few days then came back, would belt dressing do anything to help the bearings for a few days?

Putting the stock intake back on as soon as I get a clean filter for it.

Is Ford the only one who makes the blue spring update? (Motorcraft Part # 3C3Z-9T517-AG). Or are their aftermarket companies too?

If the cover is good can I just get the spring kit? Or should I replace it all?

Just the spring is all that is needed, I got the kit with the cover, but then you have to remove the fuel line fitting that is attatched, I didn't see the point of needing to replace the cover, I say this assuming the "spring only"comes with the keyhole gasket and white air bleed as they tend to break for no reason other than looking at them.

I found two online one for $69 with the cover and one for about $30 for everything but the cover. Both were the ford part numbers. Assuming my cover isn't bad...
