Question

2004 6.0

I am ordering a 2004 6.0, and was just wondering if the 2004 will have the ICP moved to the valve cover on the riht hand side. And also some other improvements i have read on the 2004 6.0 motor. My real question is , will all the improvments be on the first engine in the 2004s or will they just use what they have in inventory, then release the newer upgraded engines latter on. I know my truck will be built in july 2003 and want the latest engine availiable. Thanks to all in advance on this subject.

Good question. I don't know if we have a date for the 2004 job 1 yet -- they haven't told me anything (which isn't unusual).

Joe, is there any way you can find out if these improvement will be on the job #1 trucks. I heard job #1 is july 17th. thanks
