Morning guys!

Hey I have a question. My youngest brother just bought a new F150 4x4. He wants to get a spray on bed liner applied. Anyone have any recommendations on which one and which location to have it done at?

I was thinking about suggesting Line-x. What do you guys think? He lives in the south west metro and works in the north west metro. He's not a contractor or anything so the truck will just see general use. Thanks.

He already picked up the truck so ordering one with a bed liner isn't an option. I think he bought his from Apple Ford. Not sure if they offer it there or not. I can have him check out.

I'm just glad he bought a Ford! He was considering a dodge! But he test drove both and decided the Ford was much better.

Morning Ted! I guess I am not gonna be much help here. I have never had one done and don't live anywhere near the cities to tell him where to go down there. I am sure some of the other guys will be along and have some suggestions.

I've never had a spray in liner either. I've never owned a truck nice enough to worry about it. I'm more of a d.i.y. roll on liner type of guy. That's what I'm going with on my 54 F100 project.

I have one but mine also came from Wolf Motors in Jordan. Had it when I bought it. They put alot of them in their used trucks to make them look good.

I had mine done by Line-X of Lakeville. I'm very happy with it. It was probably closer to $750 for a full size bed over the cap rails. It's a lot. But, I like it much better than my old plastic liner from my old F-150.

There is another guy who does Line-X in Mankato, I think.

I just got a quote from them for $599 for a short box under rail for their premium liner with UV protection.

Not really much to show right now. It's just a pile of parts stored away.

Here's a picture from a couple years back when I was mocking up the body on a shortened 84 F250 4x4 chassis.

I've changed directions so many times on this build I'm still dizzy! As of now I'm going to be mounting the body on a 78 F150 4x4 chassis and I'm also stretching the cab into an extended cab with suicide rear doors.

It's not going to be a show truck. I'm building it to be my year round daily driver and possibly do some plowing with it in the winter ( if we ever get any snow ) .

Here's a pic of some of the floor work I've done so far. Again far from show truck quality but it's all done by me.

I've got a build thread posted in the projects forum.
