Dave, what do you think about just putting on new head gaskets and going with new head bolts from Ford. It would be about $300 cheaper and they are "updated" version?
Good Morning guys! Happy FRIDAY!!!!! I get to work today noon to 6:30. I've been getting a ton of hours this week, which was exactly the reason I came back. Before Christmas, we had two people take different jobs, so when I told my boss that I'd be working over Christmas break, I think I made some brownie points. Strategic timing....
Good Morning Jim, Jim, Troy, Lee, Jay, Mike, Gerry, Dave and anyone else stopping by.
I'm looking forward to the weekend!! Lots of relaxing to be done and an a$$ whooping to watch.
For a 4 day work week, it has been long.
Good morning Michael!

Dave says I need a new HPOP, so I may not do head studs now since I don't have a problem. The money tree is looking a little bare with the wedding and all.
Actually, hate to break it to you, but Arctic Cat was number one in 2011 and 2012. Ski-Doo was #2.
Ski-Doo prior to the Rev XP chassis were not good riding sleds. Polaris was much better then. Now they are all pretty equal.
At the end of the day they all have issues and strong points. Yamaha are the most reliable, but are over priced and heavy. Polaris are cheap, but maintenance heavy. Cat are the most advanced, but break all the time. Doo are reasonably priced, but have chassis and motor issues.
Uh, no. Skidoo has sold more sleds for a of number of recent years. Number 2 would be pooplaris.the green frog slime is 3. Now if your talking overall company sales of all recreation vehicles like 4 wheelers and such then maybe.
The 03 revs had handling problems but they improved greatly after that.

That's why all the others are still trying to imitate them??
What sled was it? If a sled isn't setup to the rider they won't handle good.

So where are you getting your numbers from? Can you post a link or is this what the local Skidoo dealer is telling you? I am not sure where Dave got his numbers from either but lets start here.
It's almost impossible to find any current actual sales volume for sleds. Been surfing the net for a while now with no real information other than total sales for all manufacturers combined. No break down by manufacturer.
