Don't know if you have bought anything yet but my vote is for KR and EL. I bought an EB EL in 2007 and would have bought KR but unfortunately, they didn't make 2007 KR Expeditions. I have a 2008 KR F250 and the KR blows the EB leather away, there is no comparsion. You won't be sorry you bought an EL.

Purchased 2010 EB / EL

Thanks for all the replies, just to update the thread I did purchase the 2010 Eddie Bauer EL and so far feels like we made a good decision. We have had her about 2 weeks now and have our first road trip under our belt(about 4.5 hours to East TN from Cincy). The trip was fun, everyone was comfotable and I even got in the back and rode couple hours in the 3rd row watching NEMO with the kids. It is very comfy on the road and the EL was a wise choice for sure as even with that short of a trip, we had the back pretty packed, esp being winter time with extra coats, etc...

I would have LOVED to get the KR interior, but in the end even with agressive year end rebates on 2012 models I just could not stomach the price diff to go new. I had some equity in my past truck, but was financing and just could not justify the new prices and payment diff. The KR upgrade is one thing, but most of them are loaded with all the other stuff (Nav, running boards, air susp, etc..)keeping the price up. There was a white KR with chairs and not many other options in CO, new 2012 that I was very close on - even priced flights for my wife to fly out to Denver and drive it home ... but in the end it was still over $17K + tax more than this 2010 EB with only 33K miles. I looked far and wide used but every time I found a 2010 or 11 KR EL it had the rear bench seat which was a deal breaker with my kids / dogs situation.

Perhaps down the road, I will be able to sell this one and find KR / EL of my dreams, but for now seems like we made a good decision and working on a short list of issues while still under the 36K mileage warranty.

Will try to post a photo soon, surely will have more questions going forward for the group!

Congrats on you new purchase. Just be sure to check the rear hatch for the dreaded paint bubbling, especially around the chrome areas. I ended up find it on my 09 after my warranty had expired. I even found some on the front of the hood recently.

Interesting reply, it is on my list already but still trying to decide which dealer to use, get some local opinions if possible. Sure enough, the left side of the chrome piece above the lic plate area has 2 very small bubbles in the paint that I'm guessing are rust under there. I probably would not have noticed it, but did a clay bar and wax job the first weekend had it.

Anyone know if there is a longer "corrosion warranty" or just to 36k miles? What is the fix, will they just repaint, or am I allowed to request a new hatch assembly? I would hate for it to just come back in the same spot year or 2 down the road... Thanks!
