Yep, me too. I hate working in the cold. Oh, and then there's the snow, which makes the city and state put down salt, which trashes the vehicles. That's if someone doesn't slide into you first.
I don't like the salt & I learned to be real careful (not once, not twice, but three times) when driving in the snow (all three times I slid a vehicle on the ice and almost hit something (six years ago), or straddled two lanes of traffic (three years ago), & had axle hop while trying to stop [on black ice (never seen it) ] at a stop light while going the speed limit (three weeks ago) while taking my grandma & aunt back home to Lafayette.

I've been trying to talk the wife into getting a place down in southern Missouri, down by Branson on the lake, for us to retire to. The weather is much milder in the winter, and I love that area down there. She's dead set against it for the time being, but I'm still working on her!

Don't have any in the forecast here. Most of what we got a while back has melted away. Got the truck washed Friday, maybe it'll stay clean for a whole week.
