I hope this link works. Here is my project, a '56 f100 big window. I'm trying to get it finished for this next summer. I have not made up my mind yet on color but it will be Tangelo pearl or Vanilla pearl for the exterior. The foundation is pretty much finished.
If the link does not work, please let me know.
Thanks guys, I will keep posting but the only problem is that I have a Nikkon Cool Pix 10 Megapixel camera and it only allows 1:16 minutes of recording. I've tried different quality settings and this is the most I can squeeze out of it. It records with low quality also. Now I'm thinking of buying a movie camera but that means taking funds from my truck money for a camera.
Hey Fred,
Your '56 looks great! That frame is a cool color. Drive it up here to Austin when you get it done so we can take a look. Keep it tucked in tonight - Did you guys get any snow?
Is there anyone with knowledge of a great paint shop in or around San Antonio, Texas or better yet around the southwest Texas area? I'm trying to get my ducks lined up for the home run.
Hey Fred,
Sam Detweil (Sdetweil) is a power user here from just outside
Austin who has a beautiful green '56 that he had painted around here.
I'd PM Sam & ask his thoughts on paint shops in Central Texas - he's got a ton of experience.
I was going to ask if you could take a look at this thread & help out poor Carlos from Spain (capelo). He's been searching for a '56 to ship over to Spain & seems to have one he likes up near Seattle. I think the language barrier is a problem. His budget isn't huge, not sure but he seems to be looking for an all original '56? He might need some guidance preferably in Spanish.
Hey Fred,
Thanks - If you strike out with Sam shoot me a note.
I had mine painted by some guys outside of Seguin but it was through a shop so I had no direct contact with the painter. A pic of our truck below.
