I bet it was a body swap onto a bullnose frame now that I look a little closer at it. In that case, I'll pass. I can do a nicer job.

It's a neat idea but I'm thinking he wants to trade it for something with less "custom fabrication".

Yeah a bumper like that would be pretty cool. Unfortunately there's not a whole lot of aftermarket support for the 2nd gen Durango. Lift is limited to a torsion key lift and longer springs. I'd love to make mine look like that, but I'd need pretty deep pockets to get it done.

Work was nuts - nonstop from 6:30 to 4:30. Now it's time to settle down and watch MacGyver reruns.

Evening all!

I decided to get crackin' on the front suspension on the C-cab tomorrow. I was kicking through my steel and discovered I can build the front suspension and the cross member it'll bolt to. I still have to wait to build the rest of the frame, but at least I can move forward a little until I get the square tube for the side rails.

Start and drive the Ford herd, since I have been on the road for a while. Catch up on Ford truck part request emails by making a Jy parts run.

Whats your plans?

Good Morning all!

I'm gonna get started on the C-cab suspension this morning. Then I have to see about picking up an elliptical machine that someone that Tiff works with is giving us.

As far as the weekend goes, not much on the agenda.

Garrett, ah drill weekend sounds like fun....lol. I did that at one time in my life, but my schedule was like 24/7 for 20 years and 29 days, but who was counting?

Even Alan and RC have some military time, RC's was WAY back in the day though, he used black powder and road a horse I think? Jk there RC, thanks again for your service in those rough times.

Alan ever thought about starting the disability process again? I know it takes a long time, but in the end you get what you have earned the hard way. Thanks for you time in the sand box too!

Good luck on the disability Alan. As for the elliptical, sneak up on using it, your legs are pretty much in an odd position doing a not normal motion so it takes some adaptation, your kness might hurt a few days from the different motion. i've just learned this from the elliptical we just got in the last week. My knees are better and I'm extending my time on it each time. First time was three minutes and that evening i thought my knees were toast, now no discomfort and 10 minutes a time.

Hmmm. The last time I was on an elliptical was when I was still in the Army. I used that and the stationary bike for a cardio warm up. 20 minutes on either one before the workout, just to get my blood moving. I'll probably do the same thing with this one.
