A little cool, but clear skys! Waiting today on another guy to come and buy the Toyota 4X4 chassis I have for sale. I put it on craigslist last Fri and sold it on Sun. The idiot said he'd come pick it up on Tue. Never showed, and no phone call........
I reposted it last night and another guy called and said he'll be here at 5:00 today to pick it up. We'll see........

I hope they are predicting our storm with the usual lack of accuracy. I need to start going on craigslist, and ebay. I'm planning on replacing the box on the 06, preferably with an 2008-2010 box, from down south. Be cheaper than fixing the rust that's popping through on mine, and I can under coat the inner fenders on this one properly, to hopefully avoid rust through again. Just pisses me off.

To bad your not closer. I have a buddy in Helix Or that builds custom flatbeds for the "Forest Circus" and other Gov depts. He has piles of brand new pickup boxes he removes from pickups.........

The guy that works on my diesel is the one that put this idea in my head. He said I could probably pick up a good box for less than a grand ( would cost me a grand a side to fix my current box)and have it painted for a few hundred bucks. There was a place here that used to go down to Texas to get boxes and sell them, I'm going to see if they are still in business. Be nice to find a black one, but that might be tough. That would save me some coin. I'd like to get one with the newer tailgate, with the step built in. Getting too damn tough for me to climb up into the bed, especially with my knees!
