Cat Hunt
When I honk the horn - truck go's into reverse ( just kidding )
97 f250 7.5 - all new exhaust - but used old cat. I want to put a hi-flow on just to make sure I have done all I can and not wondering about it
Question is - could someone recommend exactly what cat I should use? 3" system with air tube
I have looked and read everything I can and I can't settle on one - my brain is spent

i am in the same boat f250hd 7.5 8600gvw. living in the pa salt belt my exhaust has rotted away. got to keep my emmisions. i have posted questions for help on here with not much response. this is what i found out. using a high flow usally rated for 6000 gvw is great till you start towing or hauling heavy loads through mountains the cat heats up destroying inside. i was looking at one from flowmonster rated to 10000gvw for 145.00 free shipping. cant find no feedback on it for quality or durability. hope this helps
