You dont need the air injection with Hight flow cats. I used a Thunderbolt High flow when I re did my exhaust. I have a 5.8 so I dont know if it would work or not. I got mine off of ebay and payed 50 bucks or so
i am in the same boat f250hd 7.5 8600gvw. living in the pa salt belt my exhaust has rotted away. got to keep my emmisions. i have posted questions for help on here with not much response. this is what i found out. using a high flow usally rated for 6000 gvw is great till you start towing or hauling heavy loads through mountains the cat heats up destroying inside. i was looking at one from flowmonster rated to 10000gvw for 145.00 free shipping. cant find no feedback on it for quality or durability. hope this helps
