The hood is the same: 1973/79 F100/350 & 1978/79 Bronco.
Your "About Me" profile says you have a 1978 F150. No 1978 is a High Boy, no F100, F150, or F350 of any year is a High Boy.
High Boys: 1967/76 F250 4WD & 1977 F250 4WD before serial number Y20,001. Have a divorced transfer case and an in-cab fuel tank.
If so equipped, 1973/77 High Boys have Power Assist P/S. The manual steering gearbox is used, as it has nothing to do with Power Assist.

be persistant,ck your local craigs list,you might have to put some miles on ,but they are out there if you serch your yards and craigs list,I just found mine 1.5 hr away from me in an old barn and some other goodies,good luck,took me about a year for this good find,might take you a week,or two
