The bubble test is interesting if you have replaced the stock banjo bolts with the 6.4 bolts that dont have the check valves. There is no doubt that compression is entering the fuel system.

I forgot about the OEM CheckValve

There should be NO Compression in the Fuel Rail at any Point With or Without Check Valve

With a Check valve you wouldnt think the Air bubbles would make it to the Upper Fuel filter housing But I think the Bad ones do get air Reverse threw the check Valve

In therory the check valve should hold it in that head GReat Point

I even went as far as to run the Holddown bolt into each Hole with inject out and Make shure it Torqed out the Holddown and Not the Bolt Threads

I Measured the thickness of the Holddown and then Torqed the Bolt Alone to 26ft/lbs then measured the Space from Bolt Head to Head and as long as I had Less Space then the Width of the holddown I was Good

If that makes sense this only assures it Torqed properly

If the Holddown is Streched your still Toast

Is there an spec for hold downs other than comparing to a new one ? There was no problem with these hold downs with the old heads.

When the truck quit this time with the 6.4 banjo bolts it did not liquid lock the engine and i didnt see as much white smoke as it had the other times. When i pulled the upper fuel filter lid and spun over the engine fuel went everywhere, so compression was entering the fuel system.

You have to pull the Fuse for the FUEL Pump and FICM Before you crank the Bubble test

Never turned key on, used a remote starter switch didnt think the fuel pump would run with the key off. It was compression getting by the number 5 injector since the bottom o-ring was gone, most of the fuel left the filter housing at once.

I suspect you might have suffered from loow Fuel press and or BAD Injectors and the injectors Leak fuel into cylinder and Burn the Copper Washer

But they are not installed at Spec

Low Fuel Press will Scar the Pluger in the inject and it will Hang up

injectors are not all the same nither are hold downs. they have 3c3z,4c3z,5c3z part numbers for a reason.
replace the injectors,o-ring kits and hold downs on the effected cyclinder and use a torque wrench to install, also lube the o-rings

emmmm that would make them different....no?
rule of thumb on injectors you can use a late style in an early truckbut doing the reverse is not recomended.
hold downs are very different
