1987 BELT SYSTEM
Getting ready to install a new power steering pump on my 87 F-150 and decided to get a new pulley also. Parts stores are saying my truck should have the serpentine belt system, but it has the old style multiple belts.
Did 87 have both ?

I think the 351 still used the old belt drive system while the 302 had a serpentine drive in '87. I would think that the 351 setup would be the same as what was used in '86, so that may be a way around what the computer is telling the guy at the parts counter.
