Does anyone know what options are avail for putting a locker in the front of my 99f350sd..My driveway is steep and for plowing its a must. Also for pulling tree's out of the woods.

ARB Air Locker is available....nice for the front since it is selectable.

I think that the Detroit Locker is available as well.....not 100% sure on that one though.

Another option (although not a locker) is the Detroit Truetrac.


Those are the only other ones that I can think of.

Looking around on the web I didn't find much so thats why I asked. I've used lockrights in my toyota and love em but they don't do dana 50. I also need to lock up the rear the stock posi is useless on ice. Ihave a 10.5 inch ford rear end...

For the rear 10.5": ARB, Detroit Locker, and I think Lock Right might have one (haven't really looked for the Lock Right though, but I think someone mentioned it once)....

Or, a good LS unit would be the Auburn.....it will give you pretty good traction to both wheels.

IMO, a selectable locker or LS would be better for your application than Detroits.......due to the snow and ice and all.

If you go up to the SD forum....Jetjock16 has an Auburn LS in the rear,,,,,and abendx has a detroit in the rear........if you wanted to get their opinions on them.
