put the 83 to work
with the 20" of snow we got plus blowing and drifting i decided to take my 83 crew-cab to work friday. what was normally a 1 hour drive took a little over 2 hours. the truck ran perfect and it really goes through the snow good. the 235-85-16 tires are skinny enough and the truck is heavy enough to get down to the pavement.

nope just put it in 4x4 and drove out. i snow blowed again after i parked it so you cant see the tracks. once i get all the parts swapped over and new floorboards and carpet in it the heater will work a little better.

stock size tires nice and tall and skinny you cant beat them in the snow. thanks john its a work in progress but it gets the job done. hopefully it will be all 1 color come spring.

I wish I had the tall skinny ones on my truck. The 4X4 f150's like mine came with 235/75/15's.

^^^^ that's what I have on my F150, stock 235/75's and there AWESOME in the snow! But they do have alot of grip. lol
