I'm sure you could. But you would have to cut the axle end yokes off and weld on the Kingpin yokes. You would need a jig to get the caster and SAI angles right.
Some of the early F series pickups had kingpin knuckles (closed). You could probably have them narrowed. But the axle shaft and joint design are pretty weak and not upgradeable.
