Does anyone know the difference between the Liberator long Y pipe and the Sinister One. I think mine is leaking. I have some exaust smell and has been hissing ever since we did the head gaskets studs EGR Delete and turbo. 325 from Liberator and 499 from Sinister. Any input would help I wanted to change it out when we did all the other work but things got tight and just put in the short pipe.

Could just be stubborn to get on right, put on new for y-pipe and been fighting that leak for a while.
additionally I found the original leak at the flex point on Dr side found it by taping a piece of fleece (sting works too) and ran it around up both sides. Give that a try to find the spot, for me on the current leaks it is at the bottom of the y-pipe to turbo connection and string trick ineffective there. Found it by the soot left behind after 1k miles of driving with it.
When I had my turbo replaced it gave off the smell of exhaust ( mainly when idling with the heater on) and running down the highway would get a whistle. Turns out the turbo wasn't placed correctly...... just my 2 cents.
does anyone have an opinion on whitch y pipe might be better the liberator one or the sinister one
I have no xp with either one BUT looking at them I would go with the liberator one since it has the flex area on at least one side. Stock they have the flex portion on both sides. To me it would seem that it is important to have some flexibility in there. Ford doesn't have it there for the hell of it. I don't know where the next weakest point is that could go wrong but...
Just my 2c
So after resetting the y pipe and the turbo and having to use a high temp sealant between the exauste manifold and the ypipe we got it sealed and quiet now.
